1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Family Hub application (the “App”) provided by Mithrus AI (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Family Hub is a family management application that helps families organize chores, schedules, allowances, and communication. The App includes AI-powered chat features that provide family-aware assistance, homework help, and other interactive capabilities.

3. Accounts & Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create a family administrator account.
  • Children’s accounts may only be created by a parent or legal guardian through the Family Administrator account.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and your family members’ accounts.

4. Subscriptions & Payment

  • The App offers free and paid subscription tiers (Family at $4.99/month and Premium at $9.99/month).
  • Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice.

5. AI Features & Usage

  • AI chat features are provided “as is” and responses are generated by artificial intelligence.
  • AI responses may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. Do not rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
  • AI chat usage is subject to daily limits based on your subscription tier.
  • Parents can configure per-child AI settings, including feature access, daily limits, and time restrictions.
  • We use safety guardrails and content filtering, but cannot guarantee all AI output will be age-appropriate in every case.
  • You agree not to attempt to bypass safety features or use AI features for harmful, illegal, or abusive purposes.
  • We reserve the right to suspend AI access if we detect misuse or abuse.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App’s infrastructure
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the App to harass, bully, or harm others
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App without permission

7. Family Administrator Responsibilities

As a Family Administrator, you acknowledge that:

  • You have parental authority or legal guardianship over child accounts you create
  • You are responsible for setting appropriate AI controls and limits for your children
  • You will periodically review your children’s AI usage through the provided reports
  • You understand that AI safety features are not a substitute for parental supervision

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Mithrus AI and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, family purposes in accordance with these Terms.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App’s Profile settings. Upon deletion:

  • All your personal data, chat history, and usage data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Any active subscription must be cancelled separately through Apple’s App Store
  • If you are a Family Administrator, your family’s shared data may be affected
  • This action cannot be undone

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MITHRUS AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mithrus AI operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
